Welcome to the Public Records access site for the Sarasota Clerk of the Circuit Court and County Comptroller. This site will allow you to search for and view public documents from Board of County Commissioner meetings.


Search Results

A maximum of the top 500 search results will be displayed.


Document Type

The document type dropdown will allow you to select a specific document to search for or to search all available documents.


Documents type options include:

  • Contract
  • Resolution
  • Ordinance
  • Minutes

Full Text Search

The full text search field will allow you to search the text of documents for a specific phrase.


Meeting Date From/To

The Meeting Date From and To fields will allow you to include a date range for your search. This date range pertains to the date that the meeting occurred.


Contract, Resolution, Ordinance Numbers

If a Contract, Resolution, or Ordinance document type is selected in the Document Type dropdown field then you will have the option to include a specific Contract, Resolution, or Ordinance number in your search.

Contract, Resolution, and Ordinance number conventions are as follows:

  • Contract Number:
    • Example: C2021-001
    • Begins with: 'C' (for Contract)
    • Followed by: YYYY (four digit year)
    • Followed by: '-' (hyphen)
    • Followed by: ### specific contract number (three digits, 001, 020, 300...etc)
  • Resolution Number:
    • Example: R2021-001
    • Begins with: 'R' (for Resolution)
    • Followed by: YYYY (four digit year)
    • Followed by: '-' (hyphen)
    • Followed by: ### specific resolution number (three digits, 001, 020, 300...etc)
  • Ordinance Number:
    • Example: O2021-001
    • Begins with: 'O' (for Ordinance)
    • Followed by: YYYY (four digit year)
    • Followed by: '-' (hyphen)
    • Followed by: ### specific ordinance number (three digits, 001, 020, 300...etc)
